One of the important events lined up is signing a joint agreement (MOU) with the prestigious Phoenix Group, an AgriFoods, resources and consumer brands global corporation based in the UAE. Phoenix Group has partnered with FarmERP as their technology partner, digitizing all their farming business operations across various different countries.

Phoenix Group has 3 verticals- Agrifoods, resources and consumer brands. They have internalized the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into operations under their corporate philosophy of ‘The One Percent Change'.

Phoenix Group (AgriFoods) has various projects that they have worked on, on a global scale.
1. They are one of the largest rice distribution companies in the world, with a presence in the major growing regions and marketplaces. They deliver close to 2 million metric tons of rice to our customers around the world each year.
2. They are engaged in the merchanting, wholesale distribution and branded products from key sugar-growing countries including Brazil, Thailand, India and Europe. With over 20 existing destination markets, they plan to build upon the domestic wholesale and retail distribution opportunities that have been identified.
3. They grow and procure a wide range of products covering: wheat, barley, peas and oilseeds. These are originated from key growing areas including the CIS, the Americas, Australia, and Europe. They sell directly into 30+ destinations across East Africa, Middle East, South Asia, and South-East Asia.
4. Investment in farming, with a particular focus on smallholder inclusion, is one of the core strategic areas of growth for the Phoenix Group. They strive to ultimately achieve greater yields with reduced environmental impact and to deliver healthy quality produce to end consumers. Currently, they manage over 100,000 Ha of land in Kazakhstan, Ukraine and India, where they employ over 2,000 permanent and seasonal farmers and staff.
