Krukowiak, one of the leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery in Poland, and xFarm Technologies, a Swiss tech company and European leader in the digitalisation of agriculture, have launched a project to connect Krukowiak's sprayers and controllers. The aim is to support precision agriculture by further improving the sustainability of the use of this equipment from an environmental and economic point of view. Thanks to this project, Krukowiak's equipment that will be connected by xFarm Technologies will be eligible for Polish Agriculture 4.0 funds.

March 26 2025 - Krukowiak, one of Poland's leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment, with over 1,500 machines produced per year and 300 employees, and xFarm Technologies, a Swiss tech company and European leader in the digitalisation of agriculture, whose Farm Management Information System (FMIS) supports the work of more than 500,000 farms belonging to over 100 supply chains on 8,3+ million hectares worldwide, have launched a project. The goal is to further improve the sustainability of the use of Krukowiak sprayers and controllers, contributing to the consolidation of precision agriculture practices in Poland, a leader in the European agri-food sector.

Specifically, the collaboration between Krukowiak and xFarm Technologies will see the Swiss tech company provide a platform on which the Krukowiak sprayers will be integrated. xFarm Technologies will also connect the ISOBUS sprayers and the ARAG controllers, which are the computers through which instructions are given to the sprayers (e.g. on dosage, speed and product flow).
Precision agriculture can only reach its full potential through profound and effective digitalisation. The performance of agricultural machinery and equipment, especially sprayers, can be made significantly better and more effective through digitalisation, both economically and environmentally. And indeed, the project with xFarm Technologies will make Krukowiak's machinery eligible for purchase with Agriculture 4.0 funds.
