Dr. Zettler brings over 30 years of leadership experience across the global pre- and post-harvest food and agriculture industries. Boragen's Scientific Advisory board is comprised of distinguished scientists with expertise relevant to the company's scientific goals, including the discovery and development of boron-based platform technology for applications in agriculture and animal and human health. Research Triangle Park, N.C., December 17, 2019 - Boragen Inc., a world-leading boron-based discovery platform, today announced that it has added Dr. Mark Zettler to its Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Zettler brings over 30 years of leadership experience across the global pre- and post-harvest food and agriculture industries.

Dr. Zettler has held multiple leadership positions in R&D and New Business Development for Dow Chemical, Dow AgroSciences and AgroFresh Solutions. In these roles, he has overseen the discovery, development, regulatory approval and launch of new active ingredients and formulated products. These solutions spanned agronomic and horticultural crops, from grower to retailer. Currently, Dr. Zettler is an advisor and strategist for food and ag tech startups and investors.

Boragen Crop Protection Scientific Advisory Board provides external scientific review for Boragen Research and Development activities, evaluating research programs and progress. The Board is chaired by Dr. Roger Kemble, former President of Syngenta Biotechnology, Inc.
