ONDO solutions for precision and sustainable agriculture aim at saving water, energy and human resources used on the farm while at the same time increasing the crop yield. Yet another customer of ONDO - the greenhouse complex MARJAN-MID, specialized in growing a vast range of vegetables confirmed that ONDO helped them cut all major resources used on the farm, thus paying out their investment in full throughout the very first year of using ONDO on 0.4 ha of their greenhouses.

MARJAN-MID is an innovative farm that has deployed a number of agritech solutions in their complex. Following the expansion of the farm and the need to control all processes in it, the farm owner was on the lookout for solutions that would help with automating all tech infrastructructure they had. The ultimate goal was to increase the ease and precision in every aspect of the crop growing, thus also increasing the crop yield and the productivity of the staff employed in the farm.

Considering the size of the greenhouse complex, the team at ONDO recommended the integration of ONDO LITE precision farming automation solutions with MARJAN-MID's current infrastructure for irrigation, fertigation and climate control. Within the first year of using ONDO, the greenhouse complex registered 30% reduction in human resource used, 15% increase in crop yield, 10% less fertilizer used, 5% reduction in both water and energy consumed. Thanks to all savings and the yield boost, the investment in ONDO has been returned on 100% within the very first year of using the product!

As a next step, the greenhouse will have a misting system as well as a weather station installed. All this new equipment will also be integrated with ONDO LITE.
