BIOS Lighting welcomes Day-O-Lite to the BIOS Illuminated™ Program. Day-O-Lite expands the BIOS Illuminated product offering, allowing specifiers to choose from a diverse portfolio of LED luminaires, all made in the USA, and designed with the BIOS SkyBlue™ Technology for healthcare, education, office, and interior applications.

BIOS SkyBlue is a patented LED circadian lighting solution that produces the healthy "blue sky" light signal needed to stimulate human circadian biology. This specific light wavelength (490nm) communicates directly with human biology through a non-visual photoreceptor to regulate circadian rhythms, providing healthier sleep patterns and ultimately, better health.

"We are honored Day-O-Lite has joined the BIOS Illuminated Partner Program and are proud to help expand their human-centric product offering. This partnership enables Day-O-Lite to now deliver sustainable and high-quality commercial lighting fixtures with the naturally brilliant performance of BIOS SkyBlue LED Solutions," said Deepak Savadatti, CEO of BIOS Lighting. "With BIOS, Day-O-Lite introduces innovation, high-performance design, and industry-leading circadian lighting solutions to the rooms and communities where people live and thrive each day.

The initial Day-O-Lite + BIOS portfolio will include the Harmony Troffer series, Profile and Arc linear series, and Compass Ring series luminaires. All are designed, fabricated, and assembled exclusively at their ARRA-compliant manufacturing facility in Warwick, Rhode Island. Please contact Day-O-Lite for those and all other products compatible with BIOS SkyBlue.

"Day-O-Lite is committed to providing specifiers, architects, and designers with sustainable and highly customizable human-centric lighting solutions," said Kenneth Mackenzie, Director of Product Development & Marketing, for Day-O-Lite. "Our new partnership with BIOS empowers us to make an even greater difference in people's health, wellness, and wellbeing."
