Synagro to Highlight AllGro® Compost at USCC's COMPOST2020
AllGro® Compost Improves Soil Health, Sequesters Carbon and Will Help Protect Ground and Surface Water Quality
Synagro Technologies, Inc., one of the largest private composters in the United States, will highlight its AllGro® compost at COMPOST2020, the US Composting Council's 27th Annual Conference and Tradeshow, in North Charleston, South Carolina, January 28 to 31, 2020, at the Charleston Area Convention Center.
Join the Synagro team inside the convention center at Booth Number 109 to learn about AllGro compost - a nutrient-rich source of organic matter that brings agronomic value to almost any application. Made from carbon-rich feedstocks, AllGro compost is the result of a natural, controlled, biological process. The end result is a high-quality soil amendment used by professionals in agriculture, horticulture and landscape maintenance.
"We are pleased to be exhibiting at COMPOST2020 in North Charleston and join in celebrating its 27th year," announced Robert Pepperman, director of product sales and marketing, Synagro. "We're excited to be showcasing AllGro compost because farmers are essential stewards of community health, soil health and the health of our Earth and so are we. Synagro can help farmers switch to more sustainable practices as their partner, reducing the amount of fertilizer needed.
"Compost improves the physical structure and biological properties of any soil type by replenishing organic matter; providing slow-release plant nutrients, reducing need for chemical fertilizers; enhancing soil structure and porosity which improves soil moisture holding capacity; and helping build more friable soil which can improve tillage in compacted soils."
Last year Synagro distributed more than 250,000 tons of compost produced at its six facilities nationwide.
About Synagro
Founded in 1986, Synagro Technologies, Inc. works to turn waste into worth by helping more than 600 municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities in North America move toward safer, cleaner and more environmentally beneficial practices. For some, it's simply cleaning the water supply. For others, it's much more - we partner with them to process their waste for compost or energy pellets, creating healthy soil and sequestering carbon in the process. As the largest recycler of organic by-products in North America, we're trusted because we remove risks while keeping the logistics clean. Because our expertise is the oldest in the business, we can offer tailored solutions that ensure no waste goes to waste. Much of our work isn't pretty. But a greener world emerging from a cleaner one - worth coming from waste - and we think that's pretty beautiful. Visit synagro.com to learn more.
